Aftercare

During the healing period (7–14 days), the client must avoid: sports, sauna, tanning beds, sunbathing, swimming, bathing in a tub, and long showers that soak the tattoo!

During the healing process, the tattoo should be treated as a wound. After the scab layer falls off, the tattoo can be considered healed. After the healing period, the above activities are no longer prohibited; however, the client acknowledges that sun exposure, tanning beds, and excessive soaking will always damage the tattoo.

Aftercare Instructions – Adhesive Film

Required items:

  • Antibacterial soap
  • Paper towels
  • Aftercare cream (recommended: Bepanthen Cream, Tattoomed – tattoomed.hu)
  • Moisturizing body lotion (after healing)

The film will loosen within 1–2 hours and become more comfortable. Fluid may appear underneath later—this is normal. If it seems excessive, consult your tattoo artist.

Leave the film on for 3–5 days. To remove: wet it with running water, then gently peel it off. Clean with antibacterial soap, dry, and apply cream.
In the first days, apply cream 4–5 times daily until the skin completely flakes. Afterwards, 2–3 times daily is sufficient for about 1–2 weeks.

Required items:

  • Antibacterial soap
  • Paper towels
  • Aftercare cream (Bepanthen Cream, Tattoomed)
  • Plastic wrap + adhesive tape (e.g., Leukoplast)
  • Moisturizing body lotion

Remove the dressing with clean hands. Wash the tattoo, dry it, apply cream, and then rewrap it.
Repeat every 3–4 hours for about 3 days (for smaller tattoos, 2 times may suffice). Change the dressing every morning and evening.
